“[Julianne is] the hardest working person on the planet, and I’m not just saying that to be politically correct,” Wormald gushed. “She

doesn’t stop. She’s constantly working out with her trainer and working with coaches and this and that. I’d be trying to sleep on a break, and she’d be like exercising in her trailer. She’s awesome.”

Wormald knows remaking an iconic classic is a big responsibility. “We stayed really true to the original,” he told Us. “Not with the choreography, but with the actual plot. There’s really great dancing. To have the opportunity to actually act in a dance movie that has a really strong plot was really great. It’s really not a playlist of dance performances sort of loosely strung together; it’s a real movie.”
